Sherrock set to soak in New York atmosphere ahead of US Darts Masters: “I don’t know whether I’ll ever get the chance to go again”

Fallon Sherrock will finally take to the stage at Madison Square Garden this weekend for the US Darts Masters and has her sights not only set on playing but also soaking in New York and what it’s got to offer.

“I’ve never been to New York - the only place I’ve been to beyond Europe is Asia. I just want to go to McDonald’s and buy a hot dog from a hot dog stand, like the ones I’ve seen in the movies. I want to see the big statue (of Liberty) and stuff like that because I don’t know whether I’ll ever get the chance to go again,” said Sherrock to The Daily Star.

But while that’s the case, the Milton Keynes ace wants to show that her being picked wasn’t a fluke and that she can still produce when it matters most.

“I think it is still important to show I have that game in me and to show it on that big stage. They are all going by what I did a few years back but I played well in the Grand Slam and the Worlds last year but I didn’t get over that line. I can’t get distracted, I need to put my game face on and pick up a few wins.”
