Singer Lewis Capaldi makes entertaining cameo at PDC World Darts Championship: "It's the most fun I've had this year with my trousers on"

The PDC World Darts Championship hosts many famous faces as Dartmas takes place with the pilgrimage up to Alexandra Palace and Lewis Capaldi and Niall Horan were two of those who garnered attention on Friday evening.

Capaldi took to the stage to play darts and entertain the crowd and spoke to Sky Sports' presenter Ashleigh Wilmot calling it the most fun he's had all year.

"It's great fun, lots of camaraderie, smiles, lots of high fives. It's electric in here. It was everything I'd hoped it would be and more. It's the most fun I've had this year with my trousers on," he said on Sky Sports.

This also included him taking his shirt off. "I got caught up in the moment and I had to disrobe. I was just feeding off the energy, it was exceptional."

Instead of backing main Scottish stars like Gary Anderson and Peter Wright who tweeted his disappointment at missing him, he gave Alan Soutar a mention.

"I'm all about Alan Soutar. He captured the hearts and minds of Scotland last year, we love you."
