Despite losing in the final of week 12 of Premier League Darts in Rotterdam to Nathan Aspinall, Gerwyn Price continued his electric form that his seen him overtake Michael van Gerwen at the top of the league table.
Averaging over 100 once again in victories against Michael Smith and Jonny Clayton in the quarter-final and semi-final respectively, Price became the first man since van Gerwen in 2019 to hit six successive 100+ averages in the Premier League.
Another thing to sweeten the blow of missing out on a fifth nightly win of the season will be the fact that Prixe has now edged ahead of his great Dutch rival in the overall Premier League Darts Standings with 30 points to van Gerwen's 29.
