Suljovic, Noppert and Heta among Quarter-Finalists at Players Championship 14

The Quarter-Finals are set at Players Championship 14 with five players previously PDC title winners but for many not for a while with only Danny Noppert and Damon Heta being perennial winners on the ProTour.

As well as Andrew Gilding being the reigning UK Open champion but he has failed to reproduce similar form since then. Mensur Suljovic hasn't produced superb form for a long time, but he saw off Ross Smith and will now face Gilding.

Noppert faces Luke Woodhouse who took down Jose de Sousa, while Heta faces Mickey Mansell who dumped out Gerwyn Price earlier today. There will at least be one of Mario Vandenbogaerde or Christian Kist in the semi-finals too.

Vandenbogaerde attempting to save his Tour Card will get a big boost if he does, while Kist is not currently a Tour Card holder.
