Bunting defends title in Basel
The Swiss Darts Trophy appears on the European Tour calendar for only the
third time. The inaugural edition in 2024 was won by Martin Schindler. The German trailed Ryan Searle 7–4 in the final, but capitalised on seven missed match darts by the Englishman to prevail 8–7.
A year later the title went to Stephen Bunting. “The Bullet” beat Luke Woodhouse 8–3 in the final and returns to Basel this year as defending champion. With a strong field and £35,000 to the winner, Switzerland once again offers a lucrative top prize.
