Raymond van Barneveld claimed his Tour Card back at Q-School on Wednesday with his comeback completed in Niedernhausen.
Among those to send their congratulations to the five-time World Champion was a former rival in Phil Taylor.
Taylor took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon to congratulate RVB on returning to the tour saying it 'took guts' to attempt to win his Tour Card back.
"Congratulations to my old sparring partner, took guts to put yourself out there at Q school. Well done buddy and Good luck now your back on the PDC Tour. Brilliant," said the 16-time World Champion.
Van Barneveld thanked Taylor for his kind words following his exit from proceedings "Thanks mate I appreciate this was tough but I did it. See you soon."
