The amount Luke Littler has already earned per dart thrown in the current Premier League season

Luke Littler continues to post impressive numbers away from the stage as well. The nineteen-year-old world champion has already amassed a striking financial total during this edition of the Premier League Darts.

According to calculations by Fanatix, Littler has earned on average about £12 this season for every dart he has thrown in the current Premier League Darts campaign. The world number one enjoyed another dominant season, winning no fewer than six of the sixteen league nights. He therefore finished the regular phase as a commanding leader heading into Finals Night at The O2 in London.

For every league night won, a player receives a £10,000 bonus. With those six nightly victories alone, Littler pocketed an extra £60,000.

The figures show that during his six winning nights, Littler played a total of 327 legs. In doing so, he stepped up to the oche roughly 4,905 times to throw a dart.

Converted, that means the teenage sensation earned about £12 per throw at the board. And that amount could climb much higher later this week.

If Littler manages to win the Premier League title for the second time, the huge top prize of £350,000 awaits. The tournament’s total prize fund was also increased by £75,000 compared to last season, when Luke Humphries lifted the title.

Should Littler indeed head home with the trophy on Thursday night, his average return would rise to £76 per dart thrown, according to the calculations.

That figure is roughly seven times higher than the current UK minimum wage for an average nineteen-year-old, which currently stands at £10.85 per hour.

Littler must first deal with Gerwyn Price in the semi-finals on Finals Night, though. If “The Nuke” wins that match, a showdown with Luke Humphries or Jonny Clayton awaits in the final.
