Luke Littler captured his first career PDC ranking major last Sunday. The 17-year-old Englishman thrashed Martin Lukeman 16-3 in a one sided
Grand Slam of Darts final and moved up to fifth in the Order of Merit as a result.
Littler once again set the Wolverhampton crowd ablaze with his many 180s and high finishes. His walk-on song, however, has been fodder for debate for some time, but Littler is not inclined to change from Flo Rida's 'Green Light' for another song. "I don't think I will," he told Talksport. "Maybe in five or ten years I might have a change, but for now the crowd love it and so do I. The walk-on is a big factor in your game. When you walk-on you see all the fans, you get to sign stuff for them, see your friends and see your family. With anyone's walk-on it gets the crowd going, for myself, it gets the crowd on your side and you are just ready to go then."
After his victory in Wolverhampton on Sunday night, 'The Nuke' also showed maturity beyond his years on stage. "I was just very happy with my performance. The best feeling was when the ball of confetti came out. This is what we play for and the big titles we collect," he said afterwards.

Littler finally broke through at the World Darts Championship almost a year ago. Since then, he has won several European Tours, World Series tournaments, Players Championships events and event the Premier League Darts. "The World Championship changed me, changed my family, but now the months have gone on and I'm just getting used to it all. I'm going to have to get used to it for a very long time. This is one of the ones I wanted to win. Obviously my major record isn't the best so it's OK now," he explained. "I just wanted to come here, go deep and it just shows them I'm still here. How will I celebrate? I'll probably just go home, play on my Xbox."
