Noa-Lynn van Leuven recently made her debut at the Women's World Matchplay. In the opening round, losing 4-0 to the eventual winner, Beau Greaves.
Van Leuven hopes there will be more and more PDC tournaments for ladies. "Of course I hope that one day there will be a PDC Women's World Championship, but that might take a few years. It is especially positive that the PDC is very much working on taking women's darts to a higher level," Van Leuven told 433 Darts.
"You also saw at the past Women's World Matchplay that there was a lot of interest in our tournament, which is particularly nice."
Van Leuven also has a suggestion for an additional PDC tournament. "The World Cup of Darts for ladies would be a nice initiative, I think that would be great," he said.
Meanwhile, she combines the PDC with the
WDF. "Although at the WDF it's getting less and less, tournaments are being canceled and nobody really knows how it's going. Of course I hope the World Championship will continue to exist, but the future lies mainly with the PDC."
