Corey Cadby will return to the PDC ProTour for the first time since relinquishing his Tour Card at the start of 2020 after defeating Karel Sedlacek in the final of PDC European Q-School Final Stage Day Two.
Cadby was the main story heading into Q-School this year with a sudden return to try and win back his Tour Card after a few years away from the sport with only small attempts at a comeback but now for the next two years, the former UK Open finalist will aim to recapture his previous form.
Seeing off Sedlacek 6-3 with a 101 average with 'Evil Charlie' himself in a good position to return to the PDC Tour, he also defeated unknown quantity but a Q-School standout in Pascal Rupprecht 6-5, Sebastian Bialecki 6-1, Chris Landman 6-3, Kevin Blomme 6-2, Lukas Wenig 6-5 and Steven Morrison to start the day with a 103 average 6-0.
A day in which Cadby's scoring power returned but his missed doubles nearly cost him but he is through outright and will not have to return tomorrow. He joins Jeffrey Sparidaans on the PDC Tour from Kalkar.
