These are Peter Wright's ten best World Championship (Christmas) outfits

Peter Wright will be back at the Alexandra Palace for the PDC World Darts Championship later this month. Aside from his expert darting ability, the two-time world champion has been considered the most colourful character in the sport for years.
First round or final: Wright always makes it a party. His wife Joanne is sometimes up as early as dawn to put 'Snakebite's' hair in order. In this article, we pick out ten of Wright's most remarkable outfits from the World Darts Championship over the years.
The Grinch
As reigning world champion, Wright surprised not only the audience (present in small numbers) at the 2021 World Darts Championship, but also his opponent Steve West by appearing as a movie character The Grinch. Even his beard was - completely in theme - dyed in green.
Santa Wright
Ho, ho, ho! Snakebite brought the Christmas spirit with this particular outfit.
Wright 'in suit' on stage
For the start of the 2022 World Darts Championship, Wright was dressed quite nicely. The colorful Scot entered the stage in a tuxedo of sorts.
Christmas jumper
Ahh the Christmas jumper look, always a bit hit or miss. This particular one isn't too shabby though.
Rooster look in all colours of the rainbow
Sometimes the Scot's hair is the highlight of his outfit. With a hairdo in all the colours of the rainbow, he beat Gerwyn Price to reach the final of the 2020 World Darts Championship.
Christmas Tree
At the 2024 World Darts Championship, Wright appeared to have found another new Christmas outfit. Wearing a shirt filled with a picture of a Christmas tree, 'Snakebite' began his tournament.
Snakebite the red nosed Reindeer
With a Christmas village, snow, Santa Claus and his reindeer, Wright defeated Japan's Seigo Asada at the 2020 World Championship.
ELF darter
In classic Christmas colours, Wright escaped in a duel against Noel Malicdem. Coincidentally, the latter's first name means the word "Christmas" in French.
Colorful start
Paint splotches on Wright's shirt! The Scot began his 2014 World Championship campaign full of colour.
Tangled tenure
A chaotic but coloured shirt from Wright. Sadly for the Scot though, it wasn't a outfit fit for a champion as Snakebite went down to Michael van Gerwen in his first World final.

- So all of a sudden Littler is just a kid and it’s unfair as the Media’s darling golden boy gets the grief, never a problem though was it while it was Gerwyn Price. Been saying this for ages that something needs doing about crowd behaviour but the PDC don’t really care as long as the pissed up punters flock to Premier League night. The worry for the PDC is that as Littler has gone beyond the darts fan base and is the most high profile player in the world there is the risk that he is bigger than the PDC and then others with more clout (government for example) may start telling them to clean up their act.
