These are the final standings in groups A-B-C-D at the 2024 Grand Slam of Darts

For the darters in groups A-B-C-D, the group stage of the Grand Slam of Darts 2024 is over. The first eight names have secured their spots in the last sixteen, but the defending champion is not among them.

Humphries lost out to Rowby-John Rodriguez and James Wade in Group A. A win over Mickey Mansell put 'Cool Hand Luke' in third place. Wade and Mansell won two of their three matches, with 'The Machine' claiming first place in this group by his resounding victory over Rodriguez (5-1).

Danny Noppert remained unbeaten in Group B. After his wins over Beau Greaves and Cameron Menzies, 'The Freeze' won 5-2 over Martin Schindler in his last pool match. As a result, the German was one leg short of passing Menzies. The Scot thus finished in second place in Group B despite his 5-1 defeat to Greaves.

Martin Lukeman proved himself the best player in Group C by beating Peter Wright, Rob Cross and Leonard Gates all. His concluding 5-3 victory over Gates meant that Wright and Cross went into a mutual duel to determine who went through as number two. Wright then needed a 5-0 or 5-1 win, but "Snakebite" could only grab one leg against Cross.

Reigning European Championship winner Ritchie Edhouse once again showed his top form by finishing Group D as number one. After victories over Ross Smith and Connor Scutt, 'The Madhouse' was sure of a spot in the last sixteen after just two games. The group win was also secured after a 5-2 victory over Dave Chisnall, who finished last with three defeats. Smith and Scutt battled for the second spot, and it was Smith who emerged from that battle with a 5-0 victory over his compatriot.
