Last Wednesday, the Tour Card qualifying tournaments for the Dutch Darts Championship and the European Darts Open were played. Only three players managed to qualify for both tournaments.
It was a successful day for Owen Bates, Jeffrey de Graaf and Dom Taylor. The Swedish-Dutchman and the two Englishmen managed to force qualification for both Euro Tour tournaments.
Madars Razma, Mickey Mansell, Cameron Menzies, Ryan Meikle, Niels Zonneveld, William O'Connor and Haupai Puha will join Bates, De Graaf and Taylor at the Dutch Darts Championship in Rosmalen (May 24-26).
De Graaf provided the only Dutch success at the qualifier for the European Darts Open. In addition to Bates and Taylor, Nathan Rafferty, Radek Szaganski, Mike de Decker, Callan Rydz, Karel Sedlacek, Matthew Dennant and Andy Baetens also managed to secure a starting spot for the event in Leverkusen.
