Alan Norris provided one of the highlights in Players Championship Finals history seven years ago by throwing the first nine-dart finish at the tournament.
Out of sight of the television cameras, Norris threw a perfect leg on the second stage in his match against Michael Smith and what followed was a huge elation from Chuck. He had reason to cheer again later in the match, as he won the game 6-4.
