The 29th edition of the PDC World Darts Championship takes place from December 15. In the run-up to the start of the tournament, DartsNews looks back on some of the best moments and matches over the years.
Gary Anderson made a flying start to his semi-final against Jelle Klaasen back in 2016. He began with a 12 and 13-darter and then produced a nine-dart finish in the third leg of the first set.
He would eventually win the match 6-0 with an average over 107 before then becoming World Champion in the subsequent tie.
