As the World Matchplay edges closer with the draw and schedule being confirmed for the showpiece event which takes place in Blackpool from next weekend, we take a look at another classic tie.
This time it is Rod Harrington and Ronnie Baxter who faced off in the 1998
World Matchplay final in a brilliant display from the pair. Baxter took a 17-14 lead in the contest in the early going but despite going one away he was pegged back.
He got a match dart but squandered it allowing Harrington to go to parity at 17-17. This meant the match was extended with the player having to win by two.
'The Prince of Style' though hit a brilliant 125 finish hitting treble 15 and two double 20's. Following that he pinned double five for a memorable win over the Rocket.
