THROWBACK VIDEO: Lewis hits first nine-dart finish in PDC World Darts Championship Final against Anderson

The 28th edition of the PDC World Darts Championship from 15 December. In the run-up to the start of this tournament, Dartsnews looks back on some of the best moments in the history of this tournament.

Adrian Lewis made history in 2011 by becoming the only player ever to throw a nine-darter in a World Championship final. Jackpot threw his perfect leg in the final against Gary Anderson.

It was hit in the third leg of the first set, when Lewis managed to hit the perfect leg. This proved a good omen as he defeated Gary Anderson 7-5 in sets to claim the first of two World titles.
