Peter Wright claimed the 2020 PDC World Championship with victory over Michael van Gerwen but he had a tough route through to the title.
Wright survived match darts becoming the latest player to do so and the fourth of all time. This was in his match with Noel Malicdem.
He also defeated Seigo Asada, Jeffrey de Zwaan, Luke Humphries and Gerwyn Price. You can re-live the route through in the video below:
