Due to Coronavirus, darts has come to a halt but DartsNews as a result takes a look back at some historic moments from darting history with this time Phil Taylor once again being the focus.

Twelve years ago, Taylor brilliantly took the victory at the 2008 World Matchplay. In the final, 'The Power' faced James Wade, who could offer little resistance to his compatriot.

While the 16-time world champion needed one more leg to claim the tie, 132 was left to win.

Taylor started on the bullseye, but the dart went into the 25 and almost completely blocked the bullseye.

After finding the treble 19, he managed to do the impossible by finding the bullseye.
