As the PDC World Championship approaches ever closer, we continue to look back at the best moments from previous editions with Phil Taylor once again the focus today.
Taylor was playing in his last PDC World Championship two years ago and despite losing out to Rob Cross in his final ever game so it wasn't the fairytale victory; he nearly produced brilliance to cap it all off.
That was a nine-dart finish as he went eight darts in and just wired the ninth dart, stunning darts from 'The Power'.

- I've always thought the top 24 should be made up of major winners and runners up then Euro tour followed by PC tour winners - if you don't have 24 after that then have some qualifiers.Thomas Moffatt03-11-2024
