Raymond van Barneveld hit a brilliant nine-dart finish during the 2010
World Matchplay in his match against Denis Ovens. It was his fifth nine-dart finish during a television tournament.
The doyen of Dutch darts hit the nine-dart finish in the traditional way. He hit two 180's, then hit a 141 through treble 20, treble 19 and double 12.
The five-time World Champion beat Ovens 10-1 in the end. From there he claimed victories over Alan Tabern (13-5), Co Stompé (16-12) and James Wade (17-8). Before he lost to Phil Taylor (18-12) in the final.
