Due to Coronavirus outbreak affecting darts, there will likely be no darts for some time with Premier League Darts and European Tour among those to be postponed.
As a result, Darts News takes a look back at some notable moments in darts history in some of the tournaments that are affected.
This time it is the turn of the 2015 German Darts Championship Final between
Michael van Gerwen and
Gary Anderson. This is definitely a throwback; with Anderson not playing on this tour for some time.
Van Gerwen in this tie played his best match to date on the
European Tour averaging 117.94; which is the third highest average ever on the European Tour as of time of writing.
Anderson himself played brilliantly hitting an average of 103.78; but despite that it was won 6-2 by the Dutchman in a match that only last eleven minutes.
