THROWBACK VIDEO: Wade loses to Lewis in World Darts Championship comeback after 'Wind-gate'

The 29th edition of the PDC World Darts Championship is due to begin on Wednesday 15 December and ahead of that, DartsNews continues to look back at some of the best moments from over the years.

James Wade's potential best chance to win a World Darts Championship came in 2012 when he faced Adrian Lewis.

Both Wade and Lewis were part of Windgate which saw gusts of wind across the stage making it difficult for both players with the game temporarily disrupted.

Wade went 5-1 up but collapsed completely as Lewis produced one of the most remarkable comebacks of all time to win through.
