Simon Whitlock has already thrown nine official nine-dart finishes in his career. One of them he threw on television, on May 17 2012 during the play-offs of the Premier League Darts.
The Australian faced Andy Hamilton in the semi-finals of the Premier League. Whitlock started the second leg of that match with two 180's and then threw out 141 via triple 20, triple 15 and double 18. The Wizard then won the match 8-6, before losing 10-7 to Phil Taylor in the final.
