The World Grand Prix begins on Tuesday and as a result, we take a look back at the top 10 averages in the double start tournament which takes place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

Alan Warriner-Little still holds the highest mark with 106.45 in the 1st round back in 2001 against Andy Jenkins, the year in which 'The Iceman' claimed the title.

Gary Anderson is next up back in 2013 in his first round back in 2013 where he averaged 104.86 against Jelle Klaasen. While Michael van Gerwen holds third and fourth with the former coming back in 2013 against John Part where he hit 104.47 also in the first round.

Phil Taylor as expected dominates the rest of the standings with five further marks in a row with his best coming back in the 2011 semi-final when he defeated Richie Burnett 5-2 with a 103.02 average.
