The tenth edition of the World Cup of Darts begins shortly from 6 to 8 November with the pairs action only taking place in the first round but from the second round onwards, the countries start with singles against each other.

These matches are played over a short format, namely best of 7 legs. As a result, it is a format that can lead to high averages. Nine players have already managed to throw an average of 110 or higher at the World Cup of Darts.

The two highest averages were thrown by two Belgian players with Ronny Huybrechts breaking the tournament record during the 2017 edition with an average of 115.62. This was soon broken though the day after with Kim Huybrechts throwing an average of 121.97 in his tie against Paul Lim.

William O'Connor takes third place with an average of 115.10 against Rob Cross during the World Cup of Darts 2019. Phil Taylor and Mensur Suljovic are both fourth with 113.43.

This is followed by Raymond van Barneveld (113.38), Michael van Gerwen (111.33), Peter Wright (110.29) and Martin Schindler (110.00).

Only the tenth place on the list is not an average of 110 or higher. Gary Anderson was just short of breaking that barrier in 2010 with an average of 109.98.
