Michael van Gerwen is defending champion and returns to action after being on holiday in Thailand. He is joined by basically the Premier League line-up as Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Stephen Bunting, Rob Cross, Chris Dobey, Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price take to the oche.
They face the Benelux representatives which include Dimitri van den Bergh, Kevin Doets and Raymond van Barneveld. There is no spot though for Mike de Decker who had to decline due to a pre-booked family holiday with the Winmau World Masters being next weekend as the next big tournament. In addition, Wessel Nijman is also missing.
