Last weekend the
Belgian Darts Open was finished in Wieze. The tournament director looks back with satisfaction.
"It was an incredible party here for three days," Alexander Alvoet opens to VTM 2. "Moreover, the public behaved particularly respectfully, the players were unanimously very complimentary about that."
Over the entire weekend, some 18,000 spectators were present in Wieze. "It was the first time we organized this tournament here, but 48 hours after ticket sales started, everything was already pretty much sold out. So we knew then that it was good, we even tried to create some extra space."
Next year
The PDC also praised the past tournament. "We sat down with the people from PDC Europe and have now decided to organize the tournament next year as well. From May 5 to 7, again here in the Oktoberhallen in Wieze.
