Updated PDC Order of Merit after Belgian Darts Championship: Aspinall rises to career high position, Van Duijvenbode up 15 places

The PDC Order of Merit has been updated after the Belgian Darts Championship which saw Gerwyn Price taking the honours in Hasselt.

Despite that it wasn't Price that made the big rise over the weekend, it was Nathan Aspinall who has now risen to a career high in the PDC Order of Merit after reaching the Quarter-Finals in Belgium.

He is now up to sixth place ahead of Gary Anderson and Daryl Gurney, with both players not featuring in Hasselt and hence vulnerable.

This is mostly in the case of Anderson who has ranking money coming off and not appearing in European Tour events could mean that 'The Flying Scotsman' will slide further down the rankings in the coming months.

Another player who very much rose over the weekend was Dirk van Duijvenbode who is in a precarious position as it is due to him being in the second year of his Tour Card run.

He started the weekend in 94th place but rose 15 places up to 79th after reaching the semi-finals of a European Tour event for the first time to back up his early season promise.
