Updated Pro Tour Order of Merit after International Darts Open

Gerwyn Price winning the International Darts Open has put him up to third in the ProTour Order of Merit with him earning £25,000 onto his ranking.

Price as a result is only just behind Michael van Gerwen and Ian White now with of course Van Gerwen in particular not leading massively due to him not playing a lot of Players Championship tournaments.

With the entries also released for the Players Championship double header this weekend, the top 32 currently are all entered into the event barring James Wade for the first time in a while and it should be interesting especially with the cut off for the World Grand Prix also looming.

The ranking on the Pro Tour Order of Merit is based on the performance of players in the last twelve months in Players Championship tournaments; as well as the European Tour.

The top 16 of the Pro Tour rankings are automatically qualified for European Tour tournaments. They don't enter in until the second round during these events.

The top 32 of this Pro Tour ranking have protected status at the Players Championship events. They cannot play other seeded players in the first two rounds.
