Raymond van Barneveld will make his return to the big stage on Friday afternoon at the
UK Open when he takes on Alan Soutar.
The returning Dutch legend will make his first appearance since the end of his comeback year where he bowed out with a now infamous defeat to Darin Young.
But for the five-time World Champion despite no fans being present, the fact people will be watching on is spurring him on.
"It will be great to be back on a TV stage after so long," said Van Barneveld. "It might feel a bit strange at first with the new surroundings.
"Of course, it's a shame I can't make my comeback in front of fans but I know there will be a lot of people watching at home and I want to do well for them."
