The national press was summoned to Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the middle of last month for a groundbreaking presentation. A dart that is almost 50 percent purer than the darts currently on the market was launched.
Raymond van Barneveld was already impressed. "This is a dart with a shaft and flight in one piece and the arrow is very straight in the board. This has really been thought about," says Van Barneveld to Viaplay.
"Actually, the arrow is not really my thing, I normally throw a different kind of arrows. But it feels very good. This is ideal for looking further, although I have to practice with it for at least a month to see if I can feel really comfortable with it and make a lot of progress with it."
