Van Barneveld most reliable World Darts Championship player on doubles over past six months

Raymond van Barneveld is heading to the upcoming PDC World Darts Championship with great confidence. The 55-year-old Dutchman reached the semifinals at the Grand Slam of Darts just last month.

Especially in the second part of this year, Van Barneveld has been on a roll. He has been particularly reliable on his doubles in recent months.

Enormously accurate

With three darts in hand, there was no player involved at the Ally Pally in the past six months who threw his doubles better than Van Barneveld.

On 168 attempts, he was successful no less than 137 times. In his opening match at the World Darts Championship, 'Barney' will take on the winner of the clash between Lisa Ashton and Ryan Meikle.
