“During an interview with RTL Boulevard, I was asked if I would consider a comeback,” said Van Barneveld. “I then answered that I will not immediately say no. The media immediately picked up on that and suddenly it was big news that I would return to the PDC Tour. ”

Yet those comeback plans of 'Barney' are far from concrete at the moment. “Although I must admit that I miss it enormously. But if I want to return I have to start at the very bottom of the ladder and pass through Q-School. I have to rethink whether I want to go through that entire process again. ”
