Van den Bergh honest on current form heading into World Series: "Am I doing it on a regular basis? No at the moment"

Dimitri Van den Bergh takes on Alain Abiabi in the first round of the Bahrain Darts Masters today.

Van den Bergh is delighted to participate in this World Series of Darts tournament. "When the PDC all of a sudden drops you a message saying you can come and play in the World Series events, it's always going to be a massive honour. So to Mr Porter and the PDC, thank you guys," said Van den Bergh to Target Darts.

"It's an incredible feeling to be picked by the PDC to come over to the tournament. They want me to promote them, I always take it as an honour and I always say if you give me these opportunities and these chances, I will give 100%."

'The Dreammaker' won two World Series tournaments last year with the Nordic Darts Masters and the Dutch Darts Masters but he is honest about his current form.

"The good thing is that I can look back at all these tournaments and say it's not impossible. That's the greatest feeling ever. Am I doing it on a regular basis? No at the moment but it's not impossible."
