Van den Bergh wasn't allowed to do his dance this time: "Bobby George used to take 15 minutes sometimes"

Dimitri Van den Bergh reached the semi-finals on the seventh match day of Premier League Darts.

However, there was a notable moment before his first match. As he was about to start his traditional dance, the music was turned off and master of ceremonies John McDonald began announcing his opponent.

Surprise

"It's the first time I've noticed that," said Raymond van Barneveld, guest as an analyst on Viaplay. "Maybe it was because he took too long to get past the crowd. Wonder what they will do at Peter Wright's dance"

"Bobby George's walk-on used to take almost 15 minutes," added Co Stompé. "Maybe a new rule has been introduced that a walk-on can only last a certain time."
