Van Duijvenbode leads averages from Day One of PDC Super Series Two

To begin the second iteration of the PDC Super Series, the standard once again exhibited was incredible with Dirk van Duijvenbode finishing top with 112.72.

Van Duijvenbode didn't win the title but was in clinical form all day starting off with 109.9 against Mickey Mansell following it up with 102.7, 106.9 and 112.7 against Darren Webster, Kirk Shepherd and Mensur Suljovic.

This is before he fell to Alan Soutar who was once again at his best yesterday.

Second was Joe Cullen who hit 111.4 in defeating Max Hopp in the Last 32. While eventual winner Brendan Dolan had multiple high averages with 111.28 in his opener against Jason Lowe.

As well as 109.4 against Scott Mitchell and 106.4 against Damon Heta. Superb darts from 'The History Maker' who at times had to produce those sorts of averages to progress.
