Michael van Gerwen is currently enjoying an excellent series of form winning two Premier League Darts titles this month and also claimed the German Darts Championship recently.
Due to this, he now leads the Premier League table and it will take some getting used to after his prior form slump.
“I see myself top of the table, it’s been a while since I’ve been top of the table of any ranking,” Van Gerwen told SkySports.
“I feel good, I feel comfortable and I felt it on the stage.
“I’m starting to get somewhere; my form is starting to get there and when you don’t show it it hurts.
“I know what I’m capable of, I can show everything but sometimes you need to take a little bit of time.”
“I’m not doing too bad in the Premier League and the rest will come automatically after this.”
