Van Gerwen, Humphries and Littler battle again this year in iconic Madison Square Garden for US Darts Masters title

For the fourth year in a row, Madison Square Garden will be the setting for this year's battle for the title at the US Darts Masters. Also then, the North American Darts Championship will be played again.

The best darters from the PDC and North America will take on each other at the US Darts Masters 2025 on June 27 and 28. Last year, Cross seized the title in New York by defeating Gerwyn Price (8-7) in the final.

Both former world champions are back in the American metropolis this year. The list of PDC top players also includes Luke Humphries, Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting, Damon Heta and Nathan Aspinall. For Heta, it will be the first time he gets to play a regular World Series tournament outside Oceania.

In the first round of the US Darts Masters, the PDC stars will take on the best darters in the Americas. Tour Card holders Matt Campbell, Jules van Dongen, Danny Lauby and Jim Long are guaranteed their spots, as is Leonard Gates as the winner of the CDC Continental Cup.

That means there are still three North American spots to be distributed. These can be earned at qualifying tournaments run by the CDC. The two winners get a starting spot, as well as the player who performs best at these two qualifiers without winning a tournament. The eight North American players competing in the World Series tournament then also play their own tournament, with the winner of the North American Darts Championship getting to go to the World Darts Championship.
