Van Gerwen survives Mansell scare, set to renew Humphries rivalry in Czech Darts Open Quarter-Finals

Michael van Gerwen is through to the Quarter-Finals of the Czech Darts Open but had to survive an almighty scare from Mickey Mansell in the process in Prague.
Despite producing an incredible 108.52 average, Van Gerwen had to come from 5-4 down to see off Mickey Mansell in a 6-5 win.
One of the main reason for this scare in the first place was that Van Gerwen missed 18 darts at doubles en route to winning through despite the massive average.
In the last eight Van Gerwen plays Luke Humphries. Humphries defeated Dimitri van den Bergh in a 6-4 win as the rivalry between two of the best prospects in the game continues and now 'Cool Hand' will renew his recent head to head against Mighty Mike.
