Van Gerwen tops Players Championship Prize Money Per Tournament for 2019

The rankings for Prize Money per Tournament after the final Players Championship double header has been released with Michael van Gerwen at the top.
This is with £3,813 per tournament and will likely be for the sole reason that; Van Gerwen has missed the vast majority of events and has won many of the ones that he has entered.
Similar can be said for James Wade in second; with £3,458. From there the rest of the list shows a true indication of who have been the top players so far this season.
Gerwyn Price leads the way in that regard with £2,728; followed by the final title winner Peter Wright. Krzysztof Ratajski and Mensur Suljovic; with the former in particular very consistent all year follow.
The likes of Jose de Sousa, Glen Durrant, Ian White and Dave Chisnall all round out the list; with the Portuguese ace last on the list with £1,580.
