Van Gerwen-Van Duijvenbode and Ross Smith-Humphries leads Quarter-Final line-up at Players Championship 6

Eight players remain in the reckoning today at Players Championship 6 with a few already having titles this season and threatening the snap the streak of six different winners.

Ross Smith sealed one yesterday and is aiming to go back-to-back, he faces top seed Luke Humphries but whoever wins through faces the task of Michael van Gerwen who pounced all over a poor display from Richard Veenstra or Dirk van Duijvenbode who thrashed Ian White on a board which has been slow all day.

On the other side of the draw, two winners already this year in Dave Chisnall and Ryan Searle face off with two ever improving players but potential first time winners in Mike de Decker and Gian van Veen end the bottom half.
