Darts returned to a venue that many call its home last night in the form of Lakeside as an exhibition was held there.
It was Michael van Gerwen, who came out on top at Lakeside avenging his defeat to Wayne Mardle in Grantham the night before.
He only dropped one leg in his two matches defeating best friend Vincent van der Voort 4-0 and Luke Humphries 4-1.
Humphries himself had to come through a pre-lim edging past Simon Whitlock 3-2; from there he defeated James Wade 4-3 before falling to MVG.
