The last day of the first PDC Super Series saw Jonny Clayton finally claim £10,000 after a superb four days for ‘The Ferret’.
It ended up being 3/4 finals for Clayton who made it three times the charm in Bolton.
He was facing Damon Heta who if he would have pulled it off would have had one of the hardest runs to a PDC Tournament win.
This saw him defeat David Evans, Raymond Van Barneveld, Mervyn King, Peter Wright, Dirk Van Duijvenbode and finally Michael Van Gerwen.
