Peter Wright produced one of the best days of darts ever seen on the Players Championship series to claim the fifth event this past weekend.
Wright hit six ton plus averages throughout the day at Players Championship 5 with only a 95 standing between him and an almost perfect day.
He faced Gerwyn Price in the final and it went basically all the way, ‘The Iceman’ was sitting on 40 and ‘Snakebite’ slammed in a 170 checkout to defy the Welshman.
