(VIDEO) Tempers flare as Gerwyn Price and Daryl Gurney exchange post-World Matchplay needle after fiery contest

Gerwyn Price sealed an epic 10-7 win over Daryl Gurney in a testosterone tungsten tussle on the World Matchplay stage and 'The Iceman' in particular wasn't left too happy afterwards with post match words exchanged.

It all began in the middle of the match as Price seemed to get under Gurney's skin to the point that he started to mimic The Iceman's celebrations.

He did it at the end as Price was about to shake his hand having hit 81 to seal the win and 'The Iceman' let out his trademark roar but Price saw him and wasn't too pleased.

He promptly did as expected and had another lengthier come on to the crowd in Blackpool who seemed to welcome him as a hero for once. A player who often gets the wrong end of the stick for events that happened years ago, he finally got a good reception.

Gurney seemed not to be best pleased either going back to his water table after losing out looking over to his family and friends annoyed at what had just gone on.

But Price's plan of action worked as he moves through to the next round at the Winter Gardens.
