Luke Littler averaged over 106 as he saw off Rob Cross 4-2 to reach the Quarter-Finals of the PDC World Darts Championship but while The Nuke has been lauded for his success, some are less supportive.
Littler was booed by sections of the crowd during the game and also during his post match interview on stage and he savagely responded thank you for my money.
Akin to a WWE wrestler turning heel, Littler let the crowd have it when asked by Sky Sports reporter Polly James about the booing in the crowd. Initially unperturbed by the booing, it continuing seemed to annoy him.
“I’m not bothered, I’m really not bothered. Can I just say one thing? You guys pay for tickets that pays for my prize money - so thank you. Thank you for my money. Thank you for booing me,” he said on Sky Sports.
Well on course towards his second World title, Littler seems to be not fussed if he’s liked or not as he remains must see at the Alexandra Palace.

- Not very PC but Laura Turner is looking extra sensational. Naturally beautiful and has such amazing legs. Laura looked absolutely stunning tonight! - Difficult one. Obviously has some struggles but you can't allow that behaviour. The damage to his hand from punching and blocking the pyrotechnics will keep him out for months anyway, but ban to the matchplay and fine whatever his prize money was for this event, with a heavy suspended ban on top.BandB17-12-2025
