James Wade claimed a fourth PDC title of the year on Sunday with victory over Jose de Sousa, a maiden finalist at Players Championship 18.
Wade spoke afterwards and said that his son was his inspiration to claim the victory after losing out early to Luke Humphries on Saturday.
He hopes as a result now that it can kick start some form going into the World Matchplay.
"Yesterday after I lost I looked at a picture of my son on my phone and that inspired me to win today," said Wade.
"The final wasn't a great game, in fact I wouldn't say I played very well today which is ironic really.
"But maybe today will boost me into a bit of form and I can do some damage at the World Matchplay."
