James Wade and Stephen Bunting have kept their hopes alive in Group C and D courtesy of victories over Boris Krcmar and Chris Dobey respectively.
Wade was facing Krcmar who went down to Rob Cross yesterday in a whitewash defeat and is looking to head towards saving his Tour Card this week.
But he was dealt a blow by 'The Machine' who won through 5-2 with a 95.3 average, 63% on the doubles and a high checkout of 122.
This after he was narrowly defeated by Jim Williams yesterday and the ever present will take that confidence forward.
Same can be said for Bunting who claimed a 5-3 win over Dobey with a 92 average with his doubling vastly superior.
This saw 5/12 on the doubles cancelling out the three 180's from Dobey who hit only 3/15 en route to defeat.
After being edged out averaging nearly 107 yesterday, he will face Rowby-John Rodriguez tomorrow looking to move through.
