The first semi-final is confirmed at the German Darts Masters with James Wade set to take on Peter Wright after he demolished Daryl Gurney in a whitewash win.
He averaged 97.7 in the end with a 148 checkout to end it all off in a typical Wade performance with 66 percent on the doubles to boot.
Gurney on the other hand averaged 74.78 in a bad day at the office for 'Superchin'. This was confounded with him only having one dart at double throughout the whole game.
As usual though 'The Machine' pounced all over it with him averaging in excess of 100 until the very end as he claimed the crushing whitewash win.
He will now take on Peter Wright in the first semi-final having gained even more confidence as a result of a big win. It is also the second time this season that Gurney has been whitewashed by Wade with it also happening in the Premier League in Aberdeen earlier this year.
